KENYA VACATION – MERU NATIONAL PARK

Kenya vacation at Meru National Park, one of the Africa’s most beautiful parks is a great experience.
Meru National Park is a typical savanna, hot and dry but with plenty of water in the form of 14 permanent rivers flowing through it.  A haven for photography  and a perfect Kenya Safari Spot .This park hosts the big five and other Northern range wildlife like the gravy’s zebra, beisa Oryx, the reticulated giraffe and the lesser kudu Hippos and Nile crocodiles also inhibit the rivers.
The numerous outcrops form habitats for Pythons, Baboons and Leopards.  It’s where Joy and George Adamson released their most famous lioness, Elsa back into the wild.  Their former home, Elsamere at the shores of Lake Naivasha now holds a private museum and a lodge (Elsamere lodge).  The museum contains a display of their personal items including; paintings, books, guns and ammunition, chairs, clothes and collection of jewelry amongst others.  Take note that no photograph are allowed in the museum.  Once in the Rift Valley you can pay a visit to this museum and try some of the food or even spend the night at the lodge.
Accommodation at Meru National Park is in plenty with Elsa kopie tented camp being the most outstanding.  This makes Meru National Park a unique and memorable choice for a Kenya vacation
